Introduction

If you’re looking for someone for your private event, wedding, cocktail hour, etc, look no further! I’m a singer/songwriter/performer who’s been playing music in the valley for the past 15 years. Using a looper pedal, I create a full band sound with just my iPad, guitar, and voice! My degree in classical voice helps me fit any style requested, from top 40 to western, 60s-00s, alternative, gospel, and classical music. If you need a solo, duo, trio, quartet, or full band, I can make that happen! Basic lighting, audio, are included: I only need to be within 10’ of power to make your most memorable event! Hire me, be worry free!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
At $200/hr (with a two hour minimum) you receive my personal attention and personally crafted setlist song choices, by myself. You can always request a tune and if I know it, I'll play it! This also includes my own audio and lighting setup, so you don't need to worry about providing an audio system or lighting.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I always want to create the perfect setting, whether intimate evironment such as a wedding or funeral, or a birthday party or graduation, I have a setting that will work for you! I will ask for all the required information I need to be prepared for an event, as well as any other information so I can take the music side or your event totally out of your hands. My goal is to create a worry free, enjoyable environment!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a bachelor's degree in vocal performance and have been studying classical voice for 25+ years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
During college, where I studied opera, I started to play events and made a career out of live music!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Resorts, bars and restaurants, church services, private events, weddings, cocktail hours, graduations, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Typical events are between 2-4 hours, but I also can play up to 6 hours, if the event requires. If you need more time, I charge hourly, but I'm usually flexible!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Clarity in communication and clear expectation on what you would like, musicians are usually very flexible! Please make sure you include the address, what time they are expected to arrive, and have power readily available.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How long they will need music for, where they will be placed according to the space, and what kind of music they would like. One more thing would be making sure you have music ready to be played after the musician is done. Usually if the entertainment is over, people tend to leave. If you want that party to keep going, keep this in mind.
